STARTING POINT: “As a young guy, I became involved with motocross racing and decided to stay in the business. The time was good because everything was growing. Wind is the second-oldest gear brand in Europe. We aren’t doing much with Wind clothing at the moment, but we are doing well with our W2 boots. We have different brand names for each segment of the market—which is probably wrong, but probably right.”
THE JOB: “I started out as a salesman, but when the company started growing, I took over accounting as well. Besides our own proprietary brands, Wind Trading has been working since day one as a representative for other manufacturers. We help many other good brands, and when you are able to put a good product with the right distributor, that is very satisfying.” q
