The brothers double team a Supercross track.

Ever wish that you could get a true-to-life Supercross track built in your backyard? Sure you do. Every factory star has his own track, and MXA just happens to know the guys who built Kyle Lewis’, Mike Alessi’s and many other rider's tracks. According to Chris Tocco, who runs Tocco Tracks with his brother Cory, "We are Alessi's exclusive track builders. We've built him three Supercross tracks (one in Florida and two in California). Recently we finished four outdoor tracks in Florida and California. We have also built numerous private tracks for many amateurs, including the CEO of Young Homes Development."

How does MXA know the Toccos? In 2007 and 2008, Jody relied on the hard work of Chris and Cory Tocco (Tocco Track) to do much of the sculpting on the Glen Helen 250/450 National track. Working as part of Karl Scanlon’s crew, Chris and Cory spent weeks at Glen Helen in '07 and '08 building everything from the triple step-up, to the backwards Yamaha Hill, to the twin Saddleback humps to the deep sand sections. When in doubt, Jody would have Chris Tocco climb down from his Cat and take Jody’s bike to ride a section to determine if the layout was right. Chris is a former pro rider with wins as an amateur at both the GNC, World Mini and top fives at Loretta’s.

Tocco Tracks takes care of all of the equipment (D5, skid Steer, 996 Top Loader, and water truck) in the price.

Cory wields the skid steer like a scalpel.

According to Chris, “There is an open-end clause on weather and soil issues, but we have built tracks on Florida swamp land, so nothing is too challenging.”

It typically takes six days to build a Supercross track. “The majority of tracks are unique, but we build whatever the rider wants (and always factor in the latest Supercross obstacles).”

The Price? “Between $15,000 and $20,000. This is close to half of what it would cost from other builders.”
