Broken Foot For Mike Alessi

While we were at Glen Helen testing this afternoon we spotted Mike Alessi riding a 450 in preparation for his outdoor assault on the big bike. We must say that he looked very smooth, at least until he got out of shape off a jump and slammed his foot down upon landing. Immediately Mike pulled off the track, received assistance getting off his bike and hopped into the van, at which time he left with his father, Tony.

Initial reports had Mike listed with a sprained ankle, but Tony just contacted and informed us that Mike broke a small bone in his left foot. As far as a timeline of when Alessi will be back on the bike Tony isn’t sure. Stay tuned.
