WORLD VET CHAMPIONSHIP PHOTO GALLERY: Doug Dubach Wins Two Titles, While Ryan Hughes Suffers From Bad Luck Yet Again

The 2009 MTA World Vet Championship weekend brought hordes of 25 year old and "further seasoned" motocross racers to Glen Helen for the 25th running of the event. Racer entries were up despite the toilet bowl economy - a sign that motocross racers will congregate to a place where there's a challenging track to be ridden and starting gate to be dropped. The MXA wrecking crew was out at Glen Helen in full force this weekend, fielding roughly a dozen test riders in various classes. While we weren't racing, we watched Ryan Hughes and Doug Dubach battle in the +30 Pro class. In the end Dubach won (thanks to a blown rear tire by Hughes in the second moto).
