The Paris Bercy Supercross should have been a highlight for Red Bull KTM's factory rider Marvin Musquin and his many French fans. But the reigning 2010 FIM 250 World Motocross Champion had to retire from the challenging event during Saturdays racing when he put his leg down hard in the heat of the battle and injured his right knee.

Marvin's doctors in France are currently assessing the injury and more will be known when the swelling goes down and he is able to undergo an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan. This is scheduled for some time at the end of the week. Meanwhile Marvin is recovering at home in France and more should be known about the extent of the injury after the scan.
