ASK THE MXPERTS:

Where Are The Photos Of The 2010 Honda CRF450? Is It Different? Why Has No One Run A Photo Of it?
   Dear MXA,
How come I have never seen a photo of the 2010 Honda CRF450? Has Honda not released any info on this bike? Is it different? No one seems to have any answers about it? Where is it?

This is the 2010 Honda CRF450.

Just so you know that we aren't showing you a photo of a 2009, check the serial number badge on the frame. It says 2010.

Honda has been very low-key about the CRF450, but here it is. MXA ran the first photos of the 2010 CRF450 on the same day that the 2010 CRF250 photos were released. We don't know why no one else ran the CRF450, but suffice it to say that Honda didn't include it in the new model press package--but it could be found.

HERE IS A LIST OF THE CHANGES FROM THE 2009 MODEL TO THE 2010 CRF450 (PLUS THE SPECS)

(1) The HRC fuel-injection tool can now be attached without removing the tank.

(2) There are new seals on the front forks.

(3) The forks have improved valving and a higher oil quantity.

(4) The rear shock now features an updated piston and a re-designed compression adjuster for improved damping.

(5) The ECU programming and fuel-injection settings have been altered to improve throttle response.

(6) There is an all-new engine auto-decompressor system.
