ASK THE MXPERTS: What Am I Missing On My 2006 KX450F?

ASK THE MXPERTS: WHAT AM I MISSING ON MY 2006 KX450F?

Dear MXA,
I have done everything that you guys suggested to my 2006 KX450F (linkage, shock settings, ride height, fork offset, gearing, 110 rear tire, etc) and it is twice as good. Is there anything I am missing?

We run 2006 KX250F footpeg mounts and footpegs on our 2006 KX450F. They are stronger than the stock KX450F mounts because they are steel. We think the 450 stockers are iffy. The part numbers for the parts we use are  p/n # 32054-0021 and 32054-0020 for the brackets and 34028-0014 and 34028-0015 for the pegs. Buy new pings, springs and bracket bolts while you are at your friendly local dealer. The 2007 KX450F comes with these steel parts as OEM.
