COULD MOTOCROSS TRACKS USE CAUTION LIGHTS?

Could race car technology be used in motocross? Would safety lights actually work better than sleeping, texting or daydreaming flagmen?

The light posts are tall and bright.

Tracksa is a company that provides the most innovative light marshaling system to the racing world. They believe that flashing lights could that improve both motocross race track security and operations during races, practice laps and event days.

The Tracksa system effectively empowers the Race Director, track owner or safety official to position himself in one central position and react to any situation within a fraction of a second—without exposing himself, flaggers or riders to any of the dangers involved in motocross. Or individual flaggers can be given small remote controls that allow them to cover sections of the track.

The system is operated from remote control by local track marshals.

Tracksa’s light marshaling system uses wireless radio communications to interact with uniquely designed, high-visibility lights that are placed around the the track.

Or the system can be activated from the scoring tower by the race director.

Each light is equipped with high intensity Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that displays the desired flags to the drivers. The desired flags are turned on and off via Remote Control by either local flag marshals watching a couple turns or activated by race control from the scoring tower.

The LEDs used in Tracksa's light marshals generate a very pure form of light and color. The Tracksa light marshaling systems allow experienced flag marshals to respond immediately to any hazard on the track and communicate to everyone with the simple push of a button.

Overhead light panels could be used on jumps.

And all this is done from a safe distance, where the flag marshal’s safety does not have to be compromised for the sake of the sport and the inconsistency of flaggers can be eliminated.
