KTM's Tom Moen is the go-to-guy for every magazine editor in the Western Hemisphere; it's a thankless job

KTM MEDIA RELATIONS MANAGER
STARTING POINT : “I got started in motorcycles when my grandfather was getting married for the third time. He owned a Honda Trail 90, and his new wife said that he had to get rid of it. He gave it to me. I was ten years old.”

THE JOB : “My main responsibility is to get KTM products to the media, whether it is street bikes, ATVs, offroad bikes or motocross bikes. I prepare the bikes for magazine tests, go to all the test sessions, answer the technical questions and keep the bikes running. I like motorcycles, working on them and riding them, so this is the perfect job. The best thing about my job is that things are constantly changing. I’m always traveling and dealing with interesting people.”
