STARTING POINT: “I used to work in retail. I went back to school and got
a fashion degree and worked in the surf industry for a while, but that
wasn’t my passion. I love riding, so I got a job at another OEM doing
apparel before I got lucky and got the job here at Kawasaki.”
THE JOB: “We are in charge of apparel, which is one of my favorite parts, but I enjoy the bolt-on-accessories side too. I’m in charge of our inside sales team, and they work with all of our dealers. We also do marketing to our dealers and directly to the consumer. I do a lot of website banners and work with social media. Growing my people and seeing them blossom is really rewarding. Many of the people in our department ride, whether it’s a jet ski, ATV or dirt bike. Seeing them have a passion for it and succeed professionally is the best.”
