STARTING POINT: “I grew up racing. After I graduated from college with a
degree in graphic design, my first job was working at a sign shop.
While there, a friend introduced me to Ron Joynt. Ron offered me a
design job, and I became part of the team and have been here for almost
seven years.”
THE JOB: “I oversee the production and maintain DeCal Works’ high-quality standards. We have a 48-hour guarantee on pre-prints, which keeps us very busy. I also deal with a lot of our support and factory riders, along with graphics needed for magazine test bikes. The coolest thing is seeing our graphics on project bikes when they show up in magazines, like the Wiseco bike that was recently on the cover of Motocross Action. Getting to know everyone in the industry is killer. Working with guys we used to sponsor who are now working in the industry is great.”
