STARTING POINT: “I started working at AXO in Italy in 1998 after I graduated college. I was involved with sales and marketing. In 2003, AXO decided to serve the U.S. market directly instead of going through distributors. My husband, Nicola and I decided to move to the U.S. and establish AXO America.”
THE JOB:
“We take care of Canada, USA, Mexico, Latin America and Japan. We came to America and started a family. With two children, I can’t be on an airplane all the time, so Nicola took on all the sales duties that requires traveling. I do the office management, human resources and purchasing. We do the marketing together. There are only seven people at AXO America, so we all wear many hats. I also help with product development and designs a little bit and coordinate between AXO Italy. The most rewarding part of this job is creating products and seeing a sketch or idea develop into a real product.”
