Glen Helen race promoter Bud Feldkamp has
struck a sweet deal with his friends at the
luxurious
South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las
Vegas to award eight "Golden Tickets" in
conjunction with the USGP (United States
Grand Prix) at Glen Helen on May 29-30. In addition to
world class GP racing, eight lucky winners will be
treated to a grand prize package at a world
class Las Vegas resort.
"We wanted to offer something really special
for folks who buy their USGP tickets online
at
www.glenhelen.com," says Dr. Bud Feldkamp, fresh
from finishing third at the NORRA 1000
vintage race in Baja. "I know first hand what
it takes to commit to going to the races for
a weekend, so I worked out a wonderful deal
with my friend Michael Gaughan at South
Point Hotel and Casino to create a U.S.G.P. Golden Ticket bonus
plan to be randomly drawn from the race
ticket purchasers."
Each of the USGP Grand Prize Packages
includes:
1. A two-night stay at
South Point Hotel.
2. Dinner for two at the
Silverado Steakhouse.
3. A pair of South
Point show tickets.
Every week two (2) Grand
Prize bonus packages will be awarded via random
drawing (total of eight prizes during the promotion)
from now until the May 29-30 USGP weekend.
Check the Glen Helen Raceway website to see
the winners drawn on May 10, May 17, May 17, May 24 and May 31. Of the two weekly
winners, one will be a US resident
and one an international online USGP ticket
buyer.

"Located just minutes away from the
world-famous Las Vegas Strip, some of South
Point's many amenities include the 16-screen
Century Theatre movie complex, a 64-lane
bowling center and a host of restaurants
catering to all appetites and tastes. The
casino features a large selection of table
games and the latest slot and video poker
machines. The distinctive hotel features
spacious rooms and suites with 42-inch
plasma TVs, Point Plush mattresses and WiFi
throughout. The 400-seat showroom
that features headliner
entertainment and dancing to live
bands on weekends.
"Since the best motocross racers in the
world are coming to Glen Helen Raceway on
May 29-30th when the USGP pits America's
best against the world’s best, we figured it
would be only fair to award an equal number
of Golden Tickets to GP fans visiting us
from other countries," notes Feldkamp. Last
contested at Glen Helen back in 1992, the
return of the USGP to Southern California
recreates a slice of history and serves as a
fitting tribute to the 30th anniversary of
an American first winning the USGP.
With or without a Golden Ticket Grand Prize
package, fans still gain unparalled access
to the world's best MX racers at the USGP.
