KTM factory road racer Sandro Cortese won the 250cc Moto3 class at the Grand Prix of Germany. Cortese’s win was significant because it put him the in the Moto3 points lead, was the first German win at the Sachsenring circuit since 199 and makes KTM the powerhouse team in Moto3 road racing. Making the victory sweeter for KTM was that fellow KTM rider Luis Salom also stood on the podium with a third.
