SIGNING NEWS! WILL MAX NAGL REPLACE RUI GONCALVES AT THE HONDA GP TEAM?

Where will Rui go? Will Honda get their works bike to work? Can Max stick it to KTM in 2013?

Max Nagl.

With Max Nagl released from his KTM contract for next season–largely because he didn’t race very much in 2012 because of back surgery–and Rui Goncalves most likely to be dropped from the Honda GP team because of lackluster results–it would appear that Nagl and Honda are a match made in heaven.

Russian Evgeny Bobryshev has already signed at Honda for 2013-14 and Nagl, who has been nothing short of brilliant in his brief return to the GPs in the last few rounds could be a good match. Although the Honda works bike, the only true works bike on the GP circuit, has been less than stellar in 2012 it could be much improved with more R&D work over the winter.
