Michael Leib to race Zach Osborne’s Monster Energy YZ250F, while Zach heals up

Zach is out fio action with a broken collarbone.

While Zach Osborne is healing up 2012 World Two-Stroke Champion Michael Leib will fill-in for him on the the Monster Energy Yamaha teamp. The 20-year-old gets to second chance to show the Europeans that he has what it takes to run up front at the GPs. Leib’s best when he raced in Europe was a 7th at the 2010 Italian Grand Prix. Michael finished sixth at Anaheim 2 in the 250 West and won the 2012 World Two-Stroke Championship at Glen Helen early April.

Michael.

“I am pumped to have this opportunity to come back to Europe with the Monster Energy Yamaha squad,” Michael Leib said. “It's a great opportunity to ride outdoors again. The team have had great results so far and I'm looking forward to this weekend.”

The only good thing about not having a firm deal is that you are free to become a fill-in rider at any team on any bike and with any gear on a moments notice. This is Michael on a Honda at the World Two-Stroke race on April 1.
