STARTING POINT
: “My dad worked for Husky in Sweden, and I came to
the U.S. when I started riding in the Pro class. I was staying with
Jeremy McGrath, and I almost killed myself. But there were guys in
Sweden who wanted to ride in California. I saw an opportunity and
started arranging trips in 1996—that’s how MX Heaven got started.”
THE JOB
: “Most of the guys come to have fun, see some American
races and go home with memories of a lifetime. The coolest thing is
getting an e-mail from someone who says they had the time of their life.
We put them up in a big house with our own Supercross track, chef,
transportation and bikes. We take them to all the SoCal tracks so they
can ride virtually every day. It is amazing to see riders from Sweden,
England, France and other countries become close friends over the time
of their visit.”
