MAX NAGL GETS THE THAI TWO-STEP: WILL NOT RACE THIS WEEKEND

A stomach ailment sidelines the German MXDN star for the Grand Prix of Thailand

Traveling to offbeat countries has its own particular dangers...as Max Nagl found out.

Honda rider Max Nagl will skip the Grand Prix of Thailand as he has been admitted to hospital with a stomach infection. Nagl was suffering stomach issue in Qatar also and was admitted to the local hospital in Doha, Qatar, for food poisoning. In Thailand, Nagl’s condition deteriorated after a few good days and he was sent to the Bangkok hospital in Pattaya to receive intravenous antibiotics and fluids for rehydration. Now Max is just trying to get healthy enough to fly home.
