Meanwhile, Geico Honda’s Wil Hahn won his first 250 East Regional Championship as three-time Arenacross Champion Tyler Bowers won the first 250SX race of his career. On the other coast, KTM’s Ken Roczen captured his first 250 West Regional Championship, while Eli Tomac got consolation by winning the race. Finally, Roczen won the 250 East/West Shootout.

THE EVENING WRAP-UP, THE SEASON WRAP-UP

450 CLASS

Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer started the 450 class with the holeshot, but Ryan Villopoto pushed his way past on lap  one. Ryan Dungey, who came into Vegas trailing Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps by three points in the battle for second place in season standings, moved into second place on Lap 5. Millsaps pulled into the number-three position behind Dungey to secure second place in the season standings. Dungey finished the race in second and finished third in season standings.

250 EAST

In the 240 East, Gavin Faith  got the holeshot and led Wil Hahn through turn one. After the opening lap, Tyler Bowers moved into second place before taking over the lead on Lap 2. Hahn got to second on Lap 5 as Marvin Musquin began to move forward, passing Hahn and closing in on Bowers. Musquin had to pass Bowers to win the 250 East, but he came up a few feet short and Wil Hahn held on to the points lead.

DAVI MILLSAPS WILL HAVE SURGERY ON WEDNESDAY

250 WEST

Zach Osborne led the field through turn one with Ryan Sipes and Martin Davalos in tow. Davalos quickly worked his way into the lead on the opening lap. The real battle was between Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac. Roczen ran in second until Tomac came from mid-pack to pass him. Then, Tomac got Davalos for the lead. If Roczen didn’t pass Davalos, Tomac would win the 250 West, but on the last lap Roczen successfully passed Davalos to secured  the 250 West Championship. Roczen would come back later to win the East/West Shootout.
